Is a Concierge Lifestyle for you?

You might want to consider a Long Island Virtual Assistant

Have you ever wondered where the time goes? Many people wish that there was more time in the day or that they had an 8-day week to get everything on their “To-Do” lists done. Don’t you wish that you had an assistant to help get you through the day? A Long Island Virtual Assistant might be exactly what you need.

Most times, when we think of the word “Concierge”, we are at a hotel and there is someone who is taking care of things for us. This is true, however, today “concierge services” have expanded into all other areas of our personal life.  These people, like Sandra Nunes, owner of Concierge Lifestyle, have found a way to bring concierge services into your home or business at an affordable level

Today concierge services have expanded into all areas of life such as work, personal and in the home. Mobile communication has provided a broader expanse for concierge services “on the go” with just a click of a button or a text message. It can now be available any where and at any time. These days, our lives are becoming more and more busy.  We find that the belief of “having to doit all” is no longer achievable if we hope to achieve success in all areas of our lives.

Concierge services, much like a Long Island virtual assistant, are used in all aspects of business, such as sales, internet marketing, consulting, small business owners, entrepreneurs, investors and much more. Many of the tasks in these areas can be performed by a concierge, leaving the business owner or entrepreneur with the necessary time to do the tasks that only they can do.  This provides the business owner with the time to focus on what actually produces money for their businesses.

Today, home life is being run no different then a business. If you strive to achieve a work-life balance, concierge services can free up time for individuals and families to invest in what matters most. Studies have found that more and more households are delegating the “chores” of their house to outside vendors.  We asked Sandra Nunes, owner of Concierge Lifestyle, what some of the common requests are.  Sandra tells us “errands and chores such as housekeeping, pet care, shopping (grocery and gift), car service, handyman projects, and event and party planning are just a few of the daily requests we get.” She goes on to tell us that they offer more upscale services such as having a private chef prepare, serve and clean up after an intimate dinner at home. “Basically, what ever is on your To-Do list, we can take care of for you”, says Nunes.  Sandra goes on to tell us that the vendors she uses have been vetted to perform these tasks alleviating the end user from having to take the time to research reputable and reliable vendors and can provide peace of mind knowing that the job will get done to your standards.

If you ever wished you had a personal assistant, a concierge can be the way to go for booking all of your travel, arrange entertainment, personal fashion shopping, troubleshoot customer service issues and to resolution and any thing else you may need on a personal level. As long as it’s legal!

HISTORY OF THE CONCIERGE

The word concierge started in France in the early 1500s and was exclusive to Royalty. The concierge would be in charge of the keys to all the rooms of the castle and had the trust of the King. When castles were finally turned into hotels in the 1900s, the concierge remained and took on a little bit of a different role, similar to what we are accustom to today in hotels.

Since then you can pretty much find concierge services on cruise ships, credit card companies, luxury car companies and more.
